Arsenal produced a stunning turnaround to defeat Crystal Palace 3-2 and secure their spot in the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup. The Gunners’ victory was spearheaded by an incredible hat-trick from Gabriel Jesus, who had been struggling to find his form.

The match got off to a rocky start for Arsenal, as Jean-Philippe Mateta scored for Palace in the fourth minute. However, Jesus equalized for the Gunners in the 53rd minute, thanks to a brilliant through ball from Martin Odegaard. Jesus then scored his second goal in the 74th minute, courtesy of a clever pass from Bukayo Saka.

Jesus sealed his hat-trick in the 82nd minute, slotting the ball past Dean Henderson after being sent through on goal by Odegaard.

It wasn’t game over yet, as former Gunner Eddie Nketiah got on the end of a Nathaniel Clyne cross to head past Raya for 3-2 in the 85th minute as Kiwior then made way for Gabriel.

Raya punched away a dangerous Palace corner in the fifth minute of added time and the gunners held on to advance to the final four.

Arsenal will face Crystal Palace again, this time around at Selhurst Park, for a 5.30pm kick-off in the Premier League on Saturday – Mikel Arteta’s men final game before Christmas.

As for the Carabao Cup, they will find out their opposition when the draw for the semi-finals takes place on Thursday night after Tottenham Hotspur v Manchester United.
