Everton vs Liverpool

Yet another Merseyside derby in the Premier League. The Goodison Park hosts this 245th meeting between both sides. So much has changed since 24 April 2024 when Everton treated the Goodison faithfuls to a famous 2-0 victory against Liverpool. It is now table toppers Liverpool against a relegation-threatened Everton who put fellow strugglers, Wolves to the sword by 4 nill in midweek, a much-needed victory before the tough cluster of fixtures which will see them play Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester City. Liverpool could only manage a draw against Newcastle United, as Mohammed Salah’s masterclass wasn’t enough to grab all three points. Arne Slot would ensure an avoidance of further slip-ups against the toffees this weekend’s lunchtime kickoff, with Chelsea and Arsenal desperately chasing a close up.

Fulham vs Arsenal

The Gunners head to fellow London rivals, Fulham, after a convincing two nill win against Manchester United in the midweek. Mikel Arteta’s side who now sits third on the Premier League standings level on points(28) with Chelsea will be hoping to leapfrog the Blues and further close the gap on leaders Liverpool should there be any slip-up from either side. A tricky test this could be for Arsenal themselves going away to Fulham, who are oozing confidence after a convincing victory against an in-form Brighton during the midweek.

Tottenham vs Chelsea

Arguably the biggest match of the Premier League Game Week 15. Another age-long London rivalry is set to take center stage at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium. Highly rejuvenated Chelsea travels up north to face Ange Postecoglou’s inconsistent Spurs who are heavily hit with injuries to key players currently, they have only managed a draw against Fulham and most recently a 1 nill defeat to Bournemouth after that emphatic 4-0 drubbing of Champions, Manchester City. Chelsea who are currently sitting second and flying high are gunning to close the gap on leaders, Liverpool despite manager Enzo Maresca emphasizing his team isn’t in contention for the Premier League title. The Blues defeated Tottenham home and away the previous season 23/24 and going by the circumstances here again, will be disappointed not to grab all three points at Tottenham.

Manchester United vs Nottingham Forest

Ruben Amorim and Nuno Espirito are at the center of this one, as both managers will battle to bounce back from midweek Premier League defeats against Arsenal and Manchester City respectively when they lock horns at Old Trafford this weekend.

Man United‘s seven-game unbeaten run across all competitions came to an end on Wednesday night as they suffered a 2-0 defeat away against Arsenal – the Red Devils’ first loss of the Ruben Amorim era and now sits 13th on the Premier League log after 5 wins, 5 defeats, and 4 draws. Nottingham Forest have been one of the surprise packages in the Premier League this season, but they have recently suffered a dip in form, losing three of their last four matches and conceding nine goals in the process. After beating Man United 2-1 at the City Ground in December last year, Forest are looking to win back-to-back Premier League matches against the Red Devils for the first time since April 1992. Yet another tricky test this could be for Ruben Amorim and his boys.

Atalanta vs Ac Milan

Atalanta couldn’t have asked for a better start to the Serie A season, having recorded 10 wins in their first 14 games, sitting second and trailing table-toppers Napoli by 1 point. They’ll ensure to keep tabs and have Antonio Conte’s men in sight as they play host to Ac Milan who currently struggles to find their rhythm and move further high up the table.

Real Betis vs Barcelona

Hansi Flick’s Barcelona still holds at least a 3-point advantage over closest rival Real Madrid coming into this one, thanks to Madrid’s 2-1 defeat against Athletic Club in the midweek action. With the missing piece of the puzzle, Lamine Yamal in and raring to go, Barcelona’s regular front three could just be enough to wreck Betis who has been a thorn in the flesh for Barca over the years, while Real Madrid watches on to pounce on any slip up providing they themselves see off Girona away from home.
