Juventus Football Club is delighted to announce the acquisition of French forward Randal Kolo Muani on loan from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) until the end of the current season. The agreement entails a €1 million loan fee, with potential add-ons amounting to €2 million, and additional costs of €2.6 million, as confirmed by Juventus in an official statement today. Notably, the deal does not include a buy option clause, ensuring Kolo Muani’s return to PSG upon the loan’s conclusion.
Born on December 5, 1998, in Bondy, France, Randal Kolo Muani began his professional career at FC Nantes, where he showcased his versatility across the front line. His impressive performances earned him a move to Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt in 2022. During his tenure in Germany, Kolo Muani became a pivotal figure for Frankfurt, netting 23 goals in 46 appearances during the 2022–2023 campaign. This prolific form led to his transfer to PSG on September 1, 2023, for a fee of €80 million, with an additional €5 million in potential bonuses.
At PSG, Kolo Muani made an immediate impact, debuting as a substitute in a 3–2 defeat to Nice on September 15, 2023, where he assisted Kylian Mbappé’s goal. He scored his first goal for the club in a commanding 4–0 victory over Olympique de Marseille on September 24, 2023. Throughout the season, he contributed nine goals and six assists in 40 appearances, aiding PSG in securing the Ligue 1 title, the Coupe de France, and the Trophée des Champions. Despite these achievements, Kolo Muani expressed a desire to “quickly forget” his first season at PSG, indicating challenges in fully integrating into the squad.
On the international stage, Kolo Muani has been a consistent performer for the French national team. Since his debut in September 2022, he has earned 27 caps and scored eight goals. Notably, he was part of the squad that reached the FIFA World Cup final in Qatar, scoring in the semi-final against Morocco and providing an assist in the final against Argentina.
