In response to recent transfer speculations surrounding Nigerian forward Ademola Lookman, Atalanta President Antonio Percassi has provided a definitive update on the player’s future with the club.
Lookman, 27, has been instrumental in Atalanta’s recent successes, notably leading the team to their first European trophy in over six decades with a historic hat-trick in the Europa League final against Bayer Leverkusen. His exceptional performances have attracted interest from top European clubs, including Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and Manchester United.
Despite the mounting interest, President Percassi has made it clear that Atalanta has no intention of parting ways with their star forward during the upcoming transfer window. In a recent statement, he emphasized, “Our plan is not to change anything in the January window.”
This stance underscores Atalanta’s commitment to maintaining their competitive edge in both domestic and European competitions.
