Al Nassr Soccer Club declares that their most recent offer for Japanese winger Kaoru Mitoma from Brighton and Hove Albion has not been accepted. Brighton is adamant on keeping Mitoma, who is under contract until 2027 and has shown no wish to leave, despite offering £75 million.

Brighton has depended much on Mitoma since he made his first appearance in August 2022 to help the team win. Signing a fresh four-year contract in October 2023 extended his stay until June 2027, thereby further underlining his dedication to the club.

Given this change, Al Nassr is closing in on the addition of Jhon Durán, a Colombian forward, from Aston Villa. The contract, worth £64 million plus possible add-ons, is close to finished; Durán is expected to pass medical tests shortly.

Netting 12 goals this season, Jhon Durán, who came in Aston Villa from Chicago Fire in 2023, has shown outstanding ability. Complementing the abilities of well-known players like Cristiano Ronaldo and Sadio Mané, his addition is expected to strengthen Al Nassr&’s attacking front.

Al Nassr declares, with the transfer window of the Saudi Pro League closing this evening, there are no expectations of any further acquisitions at the moment. The organization is still intent on improving its squad and will look at any opportunity in future transfer windows.
